Profiles
Carolyn Lawrence, President
Carolyn brings experience in Strategic Development, Marketing, Internal Communications and nation-wide Event Management in financial services. Carolyn joined the company in 2005 as Event Director and after two years of apprenticeship succeeded the founder in early 2007.
Prior to joining Women of Influence Inc., Carolyn produced high profile events for TD Waterhouse Discount Brokerage in addition to supporting the marketing and sales efforts of the firm. Her strong foundation in the corporate world paired with her passion and determination to influence women’s advancement, results in a powerful entrepreneurial force and a perfect pairing with this impactful Canadian firm.
Carolyn holds an Honors BA in English Literature, from the University of Western Ontario and a Certificate of Achievement from Queen’s Finance Program. Outside of the office Carolyn holds volunteer based leadership roles with the AGO Massive Party, Canstage Visionaries Council, UNIFEM, Women Entrepreneurs of Canada and is a member of the International Women’s Forum. She has completed Ironman USA and has competed in the Triathlon World Championships for Team Canada.
Carolyn holds herself to the standards of a woman of influence every day, determined to reach her own potential and believing in the power of leading by example to inspire women around her.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Wilfrid Laurier University’s School of Business & Economics , Lisa immediately joined the team. Armed with experience from co-op terms at RBC and Research In Motion, as well as International Business experience from an exchange to Paris, France, Lisa quickly worked her way up from an entry-level position to her current role. With infectious enthusiasm and rigorous attention to detail, Lisa manages the Women of Influence Luncheon Series across the country, as well as the company’s multi-media marketing program.
Lisa is a woman of influence because she is engaged in life; always striving to try new things and experience different cultures.
Kim Wolfe, Assistant Manager
Kim joined the Women of Influence team in January 2009. Prior to that she studied Anthropology and Art History at the University of Toronto. Her studies in Anthropology have taken her across the world to Namibia, where in 2007 she completed an independent research study on the relationship between HIV/AIDS and love amongst the youth in Windhoek.
Kim is a woman of influence because she is passionate about giving back to both the local and global community.

Renee originally joined the team as a part-time public relations intern where she showed her enthusiasm and dedication which lead her to her current marketing coordinator position. Renee has a Masters in Professional Communication from the University of Western Sydney where she also spent time traveling around Australia and previously spent almost a year teaching English in South Korea. She has a passion to travel and loves to dine with great company. Her role at Women of Influence Inc. is responsible for the marketing and communications of all brands and giving her the opportunity to grow professionally.
Renee is a Woman of Influence because of her drive and eagerness to succeed.
